A timecode slate is an essential tool for shooting music videos. The song is played back with a visual timecode information so that the image can be synced to sound in postproduction. The Timecode Slate for the Iphone plays back any song from the Music Library with a visual timecode.

    Guten Tag Mathias!

Does your Timecode Slate app do 23.98 fps timecode, or just 24?

    Danke!

    John

  3. Matthias Matthias says:

    HI John,

in the current version, it only does 24. I will add 23.98 in the next update. It might take a couple of weeks for that, though.

    Best,

    Matthias

    Dear Matthias

Have you thought about including an LTC generator?

My thought was that the iPhone headphone output (or via FM transmitter) could then go to the input of many new digital SLR cameras and the external recorder to lay down LTC tracks for easy cataloguing and syncing.

    Best wishes

    Darryn

    Hi Darryn,

thanks for your thoughts. I actually have thought about LTC generation, but that is not a trivial subject. I might add this feature later. Stay tuned for the next update that will bring 23.98, cuepoints and some UI streamlining. You actually get a pretty good sync, if you have the visual reference on the DSLR.

    Best wishes,

    Matthias

    ciao matthias,

    Matthias

    Matthias,

Have you thought about developing Timecode Slate for the Android market? I as well as many other filmmakers prefer to use this platform vs. the IPhone platform.

    Thank you.

    Freddie

    Hi,

I will stick to the Iphone for now, but you never know…
